Repeat Prescriptions

A repeat prescription means that you don’t have to see a doctor each time you need more medicine. Your doctor arranges repeat prescriptions with you. Then you can ask reception a few days before you need your prescription, by telephone or in person. Your prescription is normally ready from 2 pm, 2 days after you ask. We can send it direct to the chemist. To ensure that your medication is correct your doctor will need to see you from time to time. You will be reminded when an appointment for a review is due. Repeat prescriptions can be ordered between 10 am and 2 pm on the main phone number 477 2169.

Changes to Service

Due to new government legislation (GDPR) we are reviewing our processes for dealing with patient information.  From 1 August 2018 you will no longer be able to send a representative to collect your prescription without prior provision of written consent which we will note on your records.

You may wish to sign up to the Electronic Prescription Service which allows electronic transfer of your prescription direct to a pharmacy of your choice.

Please ask at reception who will arrange this for you.

Once registered you can order your prescriptions here:  prescription ordering
